Dr. Alex Kagen is co-founder and Chief Medical Officer of Nines. Since 2015 he has also served as the Site Chair of Radiology at Mount Sinai West and Mount Sinai Morningside Hospitals in NYC and is Associate Professor of Radiology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Kagen received his medical degree from the College of Medicine at SUNY Downstate Medical Center where he also completed his residency, after a medicine internship at Lenox Hill Hospital. He completed a clinical fellowship in Body MRI at Johns Hopkins Hospital.‍


Dr. Michelle Goñi is a Nines radiologist specializing in musculoskeletal radiology. Dr. Goñi attended medical school at Universidad Central del Caribe, School of Medicine, Bayamón, Puerto Rico and completed a specialty in Diagnostic Radiology from the University of Puerto Rico, San Juan, PR. She completed her fellowship in Musculoskeletal Radiology from the University of Miami, Miami, FL.
